Print & Digital Design

About

b. 1986, HK.

Graphic Designer, Louisiana native,
and Pacific Northwest transplant.

I was born and raised in Louisiana and am a proud Baton Rouge native. I attended Louisiana State University, where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in Digital Design and minoring in Photography and Printmaking. I learned to utilize various creative outlets there, from web design to video installation and editing.

After college, I was hired as a Junior Graphic Designer at IWD Agency, a web design agency specializing in eCommerce. Over two years there, I honed my skills in creating branding, marketing graphics, and complex applications from scratch. I ended my time at IWD as the design lead of their Magento Extensions team.

After a year of freelancing, my partner and I decided to move to his native Washington state, where I landed a role as the graphic designer for Western Washington University’s Office of Admissions. I was tasked with using my digital design sensibilities to completely refresh the department’s print output, including books, brochures, postcards, posters, and more.
